Newly Formed Sokol & Eisenberg Insurance Offers Full Service Insurance and Benefits Firm
COLUMBUS, OH; NOVEMBER 6, 2017 – Two well-respected Central Ohio independent insurance agencies have joined forces to create Sokol & Eisenberg Insurance, a full service insurance and benefits company. Sokol and Eisenberg bring together two family owned firms to provide clients with a full range of insurance products and services. Sokol Insurance has been providing property and casualty insurance for almost 100 years, while Eisenberg Insurance has provided health, life and disability insurance, long term care planning and employee benefits for over two decades.
“This is a strategic move for our two firms,” said Adam Eisenberg. “We have been operating in the same office for the past year, providing each other with referrals for our two, distinct sets of offerings. Coming together allows us to present a full suite of insurance products to our respective clients more seamlessly. Equally important, by having a specialist in each area allows for us to keep up with the continual changes in our industry.”
Jay Sokol added, “Eisenberg Insurance and Sokol Insurance have the same values and business ethics. We may not have worked side by side from the beginning, but we share sincere mutual respect and concern for our clients. Combining our companies was the next step of our relationship going forward.”
All the agency principals, Kathy and Jay Sokol and Jill and Adam Eisenberg, as well as all current employees will continue in the same capacity as before. Both agencies will operate out of the same location at 1620 East Broad Street Suite #103, in Park Towers. Terms of the merger were not disclosed.
About Sokol Insurance Agency
The Sokol Insurance Agency has been a family-owned independent agency for the past three generations. The agency founded by Jay Sokol’s grandfather in 1925 continues to operate by the same deep-rooted principles generations later. Sokol Insurance has expertise and knowledge in the property and casualty fields, both personal and commercial. After graduating from college with a business degree in 1974, Jay joined his father, Saul Sokol. Kathy came on board in 1984 to help with the growing business. Together they have concentrated much of their time on the property and casualty side of insurance in order to keep up with the constant changes in the industry and needs of their clients.
